Professional Activities:
Board Certified Nutrition Support Pharmacist since 1995.  Dr. Hauff has focused her professional activities for the more than 20 years in the areas of Clnical Pharmacy practice in the areas of Pediatrics and Nutrition Support with numerous presentations in classes, seminars, and workshops.  She has been active in the McAPSEN chapter of A.S.P.E.N. serving on the Board of Directors for 4 years in the role of Treasurer (1992), Program Chairperson (1993), and President (1994).  She has also been active in the Minnesota Society of Health System Pharmacists serving as chairperson of the Annual Meeting Planning Committee and on various committees and councils.  Recent activities included an invitation by the Japanese Society of Hospital Pharmacists to visit Kyushu University Hospital and Kagoshima University Hospital (2000), both in southern Japan, speaking at various meetings of medical and pharmacy staffs at each hospital and their respecttive prefecture's Japanese Society of Hospital Pharmacists Meetings on topics focusing on Pharmaceutical Care, Nutrition Support, and the provision of Clinical Pharmacy Services in an academic setting.  She also hosted a scientist from Kyushu University (2001) for several months.  His goal is to initiate curriculum changes in the College of Pharmacy which emphasize the practice of Pharmaceutical Care and to help further the practice of Clinical Pharmacy at Kyushu University Hospital.
