Computer and technology requirements
Each participant must have:
- an Internet connection. High-speed or DSL is recommended. (please note that any speed will work, but some materials may load slowly on dial-up connection)
- a Vista supported Internet browser (click to see what these are)
- a sound card and speakers or headphones
- the ability to download and install free plug-ins (i.e. Adobe Acrobat Reader, Flash Player)
- a valid email address (that is checked regularly)
Once enrolled, participants will be guided through a brief orientation which will ensure that their computer is properly prepared.
Participant technology skills
Our courses require participants to have basic Internet and email skills. If you are comfortable sending and receiving emails and understand how to access a web page (or specific URL), you should be fine in one of our courses.
