Who should register

Pharmacists who are interested in building financial stability within a successful practice that can persist in serving community needs. In this seminar, you will learn the components of crafting a fiscally viable practice and the tools, systems and resources needed to do so.

  1. List the factors that lead to defining a successful business model for pharmaceutical care.
  2. State important factors in creating organizational “buy in” for developing practice innovation.
  3. Assist participants to envision opportunities for developing a fiscally viable practice.

Continuing Education

CE Completion Requirements:

  1. CE participants must be pharmacists.
  2. Participants must watch all video clips, totaling approximately 1.5 hours of study.
  3. Following successful completion of all video clips, an assessment and the program evaluation, a statement of credit will be mailed to participants within four weeks.

Accreditation

ACPE logoThe University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program has been planned in accordance with the ACPEs Criteria for Quality. The Universal Program Numbers are 031-999-07-107-H04-P and 031-999-07-107-H04-T. This program provides 1.5 hours of pharmacy continuing education credit. Release date: October 2007. Following attendance at the program and completion of the Verification of Attendance and Program Evaluation forms, statements of credit will be mailed to participants within 4 weeks.

Program Design

Upon registration an email will be received that will explain how to access video clips. After viewing all video clips, you must download the assessment and fax answers to the CPE office. Once the assessment has been received and verified that the participant has registered, a statement of credit will be mailed.

This program is self-study and can be completed at participants leisure.

Tuition

Tuition for this course is $20.00 which includes:

  1. Access to view video clips
  2. Assessment and Evaluation to be completed and fax in
  3. ACPE Credit upon successful completion
