Who should register

This program is designed for any pharmacist who has identified a need for; and wants to be a catalyst in creating practice change.

The prospect of leading practice change can be overwhelming!  Learn from best selling leadership authors. Take a tour of popular leadership books, survey their findings, debate their recommendations and brainstorm on the implications for practice change in pharmacy.  Learn about leveraging your personal strengths, creating value through the leadership of yourself, propelling your organization from “Good to Great” and facilitating the change process as you go.

This innovative continuing education program guides you through the authors you’ve been meaning to read! (Note: Books are not included in the cost of the program.) Taking part in the entire program exposes you to six unforgettable leadership best sellers over the next year. You’ll begin by examining your strengths as a leader, and your role in grassroots leadership. Then, move on to strategies for preparing yourself for leadership and visioning change.

Learning Objectives

  1. Reflect on personal attributes and how these can be leveraged or can inhibit the ability to lead change in your work environment.
  2. Recognize your ability to influence your environment even in the absence of title or organizational authority.
  3. Define your personal role in leading change within your professional setting.
  4. Create a vision for change and outline a process for achieving this vision.
