Who should register

This program is designed for any pharmacists interested in leadership or a pharmacist already in a leadership role.

Learning Objectives

1. List the factors internal and external to a pharmacy practice that influence success of that practice
2. Generate dialogue on the profession’s current efforts to define services based on community needs.
3. Identify examples of practitioners/practices that have successfully aligned service initiatives with community-defined objectives.
4. Trigger participants to reflect on the manner in which their practice currently serves needs of its local community.

Continuing Education

CE Completion Requirements:

1. CE participants must be pharmacists.
2. Participants must watch all video clips, totaling approximately 1.5 hours of study.
3. Following successful completion of all video clips, an electronic statement of credit will be available within four weeks. Statements of credit will be available via the CE Management System.

Accreditation

The University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program has been planned in accordance with the ACPEs Criteria for Quality. The Universal Program Numbers is 031-999-07-106-H04. This program provides 1.5 hours of pharmacy continuing education credit. Release date: February 2007. Following attendance at the program and completion of the Verification of Attendance and Program Evaluation forms, an electronic statement of credit will be available within four weeks. Statements of credit will be available via the CE Management System.

Program Design

Upon registration an email will be received that will explain how to access video clips. After viewing all video clips, you must download the assessment and fax answers to the CPE office. Once the assessment has been received and verified that the participant has registered, a statement of credit will be mailed.

This program is self-study and can be completed at participants leisure.

Tuition

Tuition for this course is $20.00 which includes:

1. Access to view video clips
2. Assessment and Evaluation to be completed and fax in
3. ACPE Credit upon successful completion

**You will not be considered registered until participant information and payment are received in our office.
