Women Impacting Healthcare Conference 2014

The Women Impacting Healthcare conference is a collaborative opportunity for women across the entire spectrum of health care professions to gather, continue their leadership journey, and network with colleagues to build a better patient experience.
This interprofessional conference will provide participants with strategies and tools to develop into the next generation of healthcare leaders. We will explore the ways to thrive as leaders by using tools that can be implemented immediately into personal and professional lives.
Conference Learning Objectives 
  1. Create a personalized leadership story that highlights unique leadership qualities in which participants thrive as leaders in an ever-changing health care environment.
  2. Develop resiliency in various roles by identifying clear goals and objectives that can assist in achieving optimal outcomes.
  3. Apply team-building principles across a variety of organizations to effectively build a positive interprofessional patient experience.

This event will take place in the McNamara Alumni Center, Johnson Great Room. The McNamara Alumni Center, 200 Oak St. SE, is located on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota campus across from Williams Arena and TCF Bank Stadium.
